The purpose of the gallery is to exhibit works of high artistic value from the private collection of Kazimieras and Virginija Mizgiriai.
The idea of the interior is to convey the unique character of Nida and area through the unity of earthly and heavenly beginnings. The gallery space is divided into two parts on a horizontal plane. The lower part, massive and sculptural like the earth’s landscape, unites the different expository elements into a single structure with its continuous perimeter.
The upper part is a white, bright, light-filled space - a neutral background for works of art - engaging the visitor with its content.
These two parts, with an articulated horizon of separation, connect into a new whole - a microcosm of amber and art, closed in itself, but reflecting the world outside the window.
